Nor...
What others may think of your decisions.
Those "others" only got a 1-sided story. You couldn't take on 2 battles.
You have to learn in life... to cut yourself some slack.
Others behavior and decisions... are others behavior and decisions. You cannot control the behavior and decisions of others.
Sometimes... that 1-sided story others saw, was solely your response to some down right toxic, absent, negligent, cruel behavior.
All while YOU were struggling.
Their time and energy towards extremely destructive behavior and decisions on the behavior. Could had far-better been spent.
No One...
Should have to fight with their health, alone.

Question to therapist:
"Am I justified by leaving dysfunctional/individuals out of my obituary? Will God see it any differently?"
Response:
"God will handle those who have failed to treat others with understanding, kindness, compassion and moral decency. That is not your battle.
The question is really a statement.
Your right, to write your own obituary, is a statement and final words about your life. It can be whatever of your choosing. It can also serve as a lesson for others. A reflection of absence and how you treat or don't treat those who are sick.
Don't feel bad disregarding dysfunctional/individuals. When your dead. It won't matter who was left out of an obituary, final words of the deceased.
What matters is how you respected yourself, no matter if it happened at the beginning or the end of your journey."
CaringBridge finally caught up from the past few days. As well learning more about case/patient #4❤️
