To be honest, clear.
The new insurance company, prescription drug provider. They gave me a 30-day supply, courtesy on their behalf for January. In order to make sure, I had all my medications for 30 days, while waiting on my provider.
New prescriptions, and other documents needed, by my new insurance company. Requests that were never submitted, by my hospital provider.
Problem is... my provider never turned in any of the paperwork. Nothing for over a month+.
They never even called the pharmacies back... requesting important documents on behalf of the insurance company.
It's no wonder, I was met with denials.
I am on stage 4, appeal process.
Patients...
YOU MUST STAY PROACTIVE!

Total cost of prescription treatment drug, coverage from my prior insurance plan for 2024. It is exceedingly high! Now, the new insurance company is refusing to cover the same medication. Partly, due to my providers office. Lack of sending back, important information. Then, blaming the insurance company.Β
It all, really started to quickly unfold this weekend. Next, final step of appeals will be in federal court, judicial judge.
